Road crossings

Runners do not have right of way at road crossings. Drivers do.

There are three road crossings on the 100K route: one at Ott car park, one at the Spelga Dam car park, and one at Deers Meadow, just before the Slieve Muck climb.

Marshals will not flag down cars. They will alert runners to oncoming traffic and, if necessary, stop runners from crossing if traffic is approaching the crossing.

Runners must obey traffic control instructions from the marshals, and follow the Highway Code rules for pedestrians at road crossings.
